Check out this fantastic video of a laboring mom beautifully breathing and working through a contraction in the transitional stage of labor.  This woman is at 8-9 centimeters dilated.  Pay attention to her shoulders.  See how wonderfully loose she is in her shoulders, her neck, and her throat.  She is doing an incredibly fantastic job especially at the peak of the contraction.
